Horsma Lapland honey, obtained from the flowers of the fireweed in uninhabited forest areas in Finland, is a delicate specialty. Its full taste has hints of vanilla and lemon. This non-crystallizing and almost colorless honey is a rarity from Lapland.
Even though fireweed sometimes blooms abundantly in Finland, it is not certainty that we get this honey every year. The best conditions for harvest can be found in Eastern and Northern Finland, but due to the wrong weather conditions, the harvest can be almost non-existent.
Horsma Lapland honey could be called Finland's manuka honey because of its unique properties. Not forgetting its soft and delicious taste. That's why it's perfect with ice cream, yogurt, and curd, and to sweeten whipped cream.
Storage recommendation: Room temperature, dry and dark placeIf honey turns crystallized, you can place jar in a pot of warm water and stir until crystals dissolve
