At the moment, we do not have a physical retail store. However, we do sell honey directly from our Polar-Honey warehouse. The warehouse is not staffed continuously, but we are available during office hours. Please ask for a suitable pickup time no later than the previous business day.
We sell our products in our online store as well as at events and markets in Finland and abroad. Check out our market calendar to see where you can find us next!
The flavor, color, scent and texture of honey depend on the plants from which the bees collected nectar. That is why different types of honey can vary greatly. The aromas differ much like those of wines!
Shipping costs depend on the destination country and selected delivery method. Please visit our international honey shop to check information for deliveries within Germany and Europe.

Crystallization is a completely natural process. The texture of honey and the speed at which it crystallizes depend on the origin of the nectar and the storage temperature. Honey crystallizes faster in cool conditions.
Honey that crystallizes quickly is not a sign that sugar has been added. The composition of nectar collected from different flowers affects the glucose and fructose balance of the honey, which in turn affects crystallization.
We do not add anything to our natural honeys, and our cold-creamed honey is always 100% genuine honey. We do not pasteurize our honey, add sugar or heat it to harmful temperatures. This helps preserve honey’s natural enzymes, antioxidants, and other valuable properties.
We accept major credit and debit cards, most common online banking services in Finland, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, MobilePay, and other local payment methods available through our payment provider Visma Pay.
ll payment information is handled securely and is not stored in our online store. Orders are processed once the payment has been successfully completed.

Honey should be stored at room temperature (around +20 °C), in a dry place protected from light. When stored properly and kept free from moisture, honey will be eatable for a very long time.
Our discounted products generally do not have an unusually short shelf life. Honey products often still have around a year or more remaining before the best-before date. Many offers are related to seasonal products, campaigns, or surplus stock. If a product has an especially short best-before date or another important note, it is always clearly mentioned on the product page in the online store.
Yes. Honey is a completely natural product made by bees from flower nectar.
Absolutely! Crystallized honey is perfectly usable.
Polar-Honey is a Finnish family business with roots in the village of Lappi near Rauma. Our honey is Finnish natural honey collected by bees from the clean Finnish countryside. Some of our specialty honeys also come from Northern Finland and the Arctic Circle region, where unique growing conditions create a distinctive aroma and flavor.
Our family has over 80 years of experience in beekeeping, and honey has been produced professionally since 1945.
The price of honey is influenced especially by its origin, availability, and production method. Some of our honeys come from Northern Finland and the Arctic Circle region, where the short but intense summer, midnight sun, and pure nature give the honey its unique taste and aroma.
The availability of different honeys varies every year. Weather conditions, flowering periods, and the success of the harvest season all affect how much honey can be produced. Some specialty honeys may only be available in very limited quantities in certain years. The availability of ingredients used in honey products may also vary, which can affect product availability.
We aim to restock products whenever new harvests and ingredients become available. We recommend following our online store and current news for updates on new batches.

Changes in the texture and color of honey are natural and do not mean the product is spoiled. Because honey is a natural product and its composition varies yearly, we cannot guarantee, for example, how long honey will remain liquid. Honey crystallization is also affected by storage conditions such as temperature.
Unfortunately, we currently do not have the resources to package small samples. In addition, according to the legislation, samples also require almost all the same packaging labels as larger jars. Especially with flavored honey products, there is a lack of space, which has more mandatory information :( It is possible to taste most of our products at market events. You can find our market calendar here!
Lately we haven't been reselling our products as our honey storage has been a bit dire after a couple of bad harvests. Please contact us to check the current situation.
