All payment methods used in the online shop are fully protected and safe to use. Payments are transferred online using the SSL (Security Sockets Layer) security technology. All personal information in the online shop is kept confidential. Any credit card information or other payment information will not be saved in the system of the online shop, but they are solely transferred between the client and the payment provider.
Prepayment (bank transfer)
If you want to pay your order by bank transfer, choose “Pay by bank wire”. After you have confirmed your order, the next page will show you the payment information for a bank transfer. The information will also be sent to the e-mail address given by you. Your order will be sent as soon as your payment is visible on our account. We reserve the products for your order for 14 days. If we do not get the payment during this time, we will automatically cancel the order and return the products to the storage.
When you choose “PayPal” as your payment method, you will be directed to the payment page of PayPal at the end of your ordering procedure. Check that the amount shown at the top of the PayPal page corresponds to the total amount shown in the online store. In the PayPal payment summary, product prices might be shown tax-free, so the most important thing is that the total is correct.
If you already are a PayPal customer, you can log in with your existing user data and confirm the payment either with a credit card connected to your account or the balance on your PayPal account. If you are a new customer in PayPal, you can create a free PayPal account. You will be directed to a site, that allows you to enter your credit or debit card details, create an account and confirm the payment. The card used for the payment will be linked to your PayPal account, so the next time you can pay only by one click after logging in to your PayPal account.
After the payment you will be directed back to the web shop. You can also cancel the payment at any point and go back to the web shop by pressing a link at the bottom of the page saying, “Cancel and return to Lappi-Hunaja / Polar-Honey Finland” or “Cancel and return to Arktischer-Honig Finnland / Polar-Honey Finland”, depanding if you order from the shop within Finland or outside Finland. The web shop will keep the contents of your shopping cart for you to choose another payment method.
Your order will be processed, when the payment is visible in our system. In most cases, receiving a payment from PayPal only takes a few minutes. After the payment has arrived, you will get an order confirmation and a payment receipt from PayPal to your e-mail address. Please notice, that sometimes PayPal page might encounter errors our web shop is not responsible of. If you are not sure whether your payment / order has been accepted, contact the online store or PayPal customer service.
“Bambora Payform” (Paybyway Inc., business identity code 2486559-4) is also a payment provider for our web shop. It is registered in the financial authorisation registry held by the Financial Supervisory Authority. For a payment you get transferred to the payment service page of Bambora. The language version of the Bambora Payform payment form is either Finnish, Swedish, English or Russian. In troubleshooting situations, we recommend that you are in contact with either webshop or Bambora customer service.
You can see either Bambora or Paybyway Inc. as the recipient of your payment on your bank account and invoice. Bambora will transfer your payment to the company. Paying with Bambora is fully safe, as all information is transferred by using a protected connection to prevent any third parties accessing any payment information.
