Delivery costs

The delivery costs are based on the delivery country, method and value of the order. The billing address of the customer has no effect on the delivery costs. The delivery costs are also not based on the weight of the order. You can see the actual delivery costs in the online shop before finalizing your order.

Delivery to Finland

Posti services are used for deliveries within Finland. Posti Small Parcel to Door is meant for small orders (under 1,5kg) which can be delivered in front of door with daily mail. Customer can't change type of delivery afterwards. With Posti Domestic Parcel customer can request a delivery to a certain post office or a Smartpost-Parcel Terminal. Otherwise the parcel will in most cases be sent to the closest Posti Smartpost-Parcel Terminal based on the delivery address. Customer must provide an e-mail address and mobile phone number while ordering, so they can receive an electronic notice on the sending and arrival of their parcel. Posti Home Parcel will be delivered home. Posti will contact you for suitable delivery time. Both types of shipments can be tracked using the OmaPosti app or on Posti's website.

Delivery 2–5 business days. Package is left behind your door and delivered with daily mail. Delivery cannot be changed to a pickup point. You will be notified after delivery. You can track your shipment online or with OmaPosti app.

Orders over 60 € will have free shipping to Posti
Pick up from post, delivery within 2-3 days. You will receive a message when the package is available for pick up. You can follow the progress of your package through the OmaPosti mobile application or Posti web site.

Orders over 120 € will have free shipping home
Home delivery, delivery in 2-3 days. Delivery time to be agreed separately. You can follow the progress of your package through the OmaPosti mobile application or Posti web site.

Delivery to other countries

If a Finnish customer living in Finland or living abroad wishes to order products abroad, he or she must register for the shop "Germany and the world" (www.polar-honey.com/shop). By default from store "Finland and Åland Islands" (www.polar-honey.com/shop/suomi) can only be ordered to Finland and the Åland Islands.

Delivery time

Orders are shipped on weekdays. Delivery time to orders within Finland is 2-4 workdays. The delivery times are only suggestive and based on operation of Posti. Company has no obligation for compensation in cases of delayed delivery because of delivery problems of Posti. If the order cannot be delivered due to stock status or other reasons, we will contact the customer to clarify the situation.

Payment instructions

All payment methods used in the online shop are fully protected and safe to use. Payments are transferred online using the SSL (Security Sockets Layer) security technology. All personal information in the online shop is kept confidential. Any credit card information or other payment information will not be saved in the system of the online shop, but they are solely transferred between the client and the payment provider.

Visma Pay
Visma Pay (Visma Payments Oy, business-id FI24865594) is the payment facilitator of the online shop. Visma Payments Oy is a payment facilitator authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Finland. The payment process is conducted in the online service of Visma Pay. Visma Pay or Visma Payments Oy is shown as the receiver of your payment in the bank account listing and in your invoice. Paying with Visma Pay is safe. All information is exchanged through secured connections.

The trade happens between the online customer and the online shop. The online shop is responsible for all obligations related to the trade. Read more about Visma Pay: https://www.vismapay.fi/

With Visma Pay you can pay your order within Finland and Åland Islands by an internet banking account, a wallet, a payment card (credit/debit), an invoice or a partial payment. The following methods of payment are supported: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Paikallisosuuspankit, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, MobilePay, Masterpass, Visa-, Visa Debit-, Visa Electron-, MasterCard- and Debit MasterCard payment cards.

3D Secure must be enabled on your card. Anyone who wants to pay with a credit card on the Internet, must take another step in order to enter the card details when releasing the payment. This authentication security measure is mandatory for online purchases by credit card in Europe, according to a European directive. The 3D-Secure process provides additional security. This is to prevent an unauthorized third party from shopping with your credit card details at your expense.

More information for customers in Finland

MobilePay: You can pay with your MobilePay wallet if you have allowed online payments in the settings of the MobilePay application. Payment via MobilePay takes place directly from the payment card linked to MobilePay. If charging the payment from the linked card fails, MobilePay can not be used in the online shop.

OP Lasku: A flexible invoice payment method. OP Lasku serves all Finnish banks' customers. Suitable for online purchases of up to 5000 € with an interest-free payment term of 45 days. The instalment option adds flexibility to purchases. Your purchases are visible in one place so you can easily keep track of them. Invoices are sent to you by email.
