Pasiina Oy / Lappi-Hunaja Arktischer-Honig Finnland / Polar-Honey FI08390701 (thereinafter stated as company) sells products to private persons in Finland and Åland Islands (shop with delivery to Finland) and in Germany and all around the world (shop with delivery outside Finland). We reserve the right to change the terms of delivery, prices and discount campaigns.
The prices for products, delivery and discount campaign prices include VAT. VAT is calculated according to the country of delivery. The current VAT for food products is used for products ordered to a location in Finland. Ordering to Åland Islands is free of VAT. The current German VAT for food products is used for products ordered to a location in Germany or other European Union countries. Our tax number in Germany is 60/763/02896. Ordering to countries outside the European Union is free of VAT. The prices in the online shop are updated based on the IP address of the customer ordering, and the prices will update to VAT-free latest at the time when the right delivery destination is chosen.
Ordering products in our online shop is conducted by adding the wished items into a shopping cart. The order gets confirmed by paying the contents of the shopping cart in the online shop or by choosing an invoice. By completing an order customer accepts these terms of delivery, prices of the products and delivery costs. A confirmation of the order and of a successful payment will be sent by e-mail. Orders are delivered on workdays. If the order cannot be delivered because of limited storage amount of the product or other reasons, the company will contact the client to solve the issue. Right to return an order excludes food products, because the products cannot be resold after they have been shipped. Because of the nature of the product, it might expire or get spoiled, and it is impossible to know, if the product has been used or opened. Opening the product makes it invalid for resale and therefore they cannot be returned.
Errors and Force Majeure
If a product disappears or gets damaged during shipping, the reclamation must be made to the company for 14 days. Package damaged in the delivery also must be reported to the carrier responsible of the shipping. If a customer has given the company false or lacking information (for example invalid or incomplete address) and the delivery is failed because of that, the customer is obliged to pay the order and delivery costs for the unsuccessful delivery.
In a case of error (for example a product damaged in the delivery or an expired best before-date) company is responsible to redeliver the product or replace it with a similar product. The customer must contact the customer service immediately and if possible, send a picture of the damaged product with email.
The company is not responsible of delays, damaged products or harm caused by a delayed delivery in unavoidable situations (Force Majeure). False and distracting orders will be reported to the authorities.
The company is not responsible to look for information of the laws of a delivery country. If the delivery country will not accept honey or other products for entering the country based on customs regulations, it is customers responsibility to find out about these regulations before ordering.
The delivery costs are based on the delivery country, method and value of the order. The billing address of the customer has no effect on the delivery costs. The delivery costs are also not based on the weight of the order. You can see the actual delivery costs in the online shop before finalizing your order.
Delivery to Finland
Posti Postipaketti or Posti Kotipaketti are used for deliveries in Finland. Customer can request a delivery to a certain post office or a Smartpost-parcel point. Otherwise the parcel will be sent to the closest Posti outlet based on the delivery address. Customer must provide an e-mail address and mobile phone number while ordering, so they can receive an electronic notice on the sending and arrival of their parcel. Posti Kotipaketti means delivery to your home address. Posti will agree suitable delivery time in advance. Both delivery options can be followed with OmaPosti app and on Post web site.

Delivery to Germany and other countries
DHL Paket is used for deliveries in Germany and DHL International for other countries worldwide. Parcels are delivered based on the delivery rules and regulations of DHL. Customer has a responsibility to agree on the details of the delivery with the carrier. Customer must provide an e-mail address and mobile phone number while ordering, so they can receive an electronic code for following the parcel and contacting in need.

EU-countries: DHL International 15 € (incl. VAT)
Other European countries: DHL International 17 €
Rest of the world: DHL International 30 €
Time of delivery to orders within Germany and Finland is 3-5 workdays. To other EU-countries the delivery takes about 5-10 days, and outside the European Union orders delivery takes usually 10-30 days. The delivery times are only suggestive and based on operation of Posti and DHL. Company has no obligation for compensation in cases of delayed delivery because of delivery problems of Posti or DHL.
