Camembert-Lingonberry-Burger

Camembert-Lingonberry-BurgerFitting the beloved barbecue season, we made a burger. Our honey, jam and mustard add the very special flavor to it, which will be a delight for every burger-lover! Perfect for evenings with friends and family or for a nice time-out by yourself!

Recipe for 2 Burger

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt          
  • 1 tsp black pepper

You can also use ready-made patties!

Dressing:

  • 200 g Turkish yoghurt
  • 3 tsp Horsma Lapland honey
  • 3 tsp Feisty Feline mustard

Topping:

  • 200 g Camembert
  • Lingonberry jam
  • 1 tomato
  • arugula
  • 2 burger buns
  • butter

Extra:

  • 100 g walnuts
  • 3 tbsp Horsma Lapland honey

Preparation:

  1. Start with the dressing: In a bowl, mix the yoghurt with the honey and add the mustard.
  2. You can add as much as you like, so it suits your preferences!
  3. When everything is mixed, place the bowl inside the fridge and continue with the meat.
  4. Mix all the ingredients and form them into fitting patties.
  5. Put the patties on the barbecue and place the camembert on top to melt, short before they’re ready.
  6. Spread some butter on the insides of the buns and place also them on the barbecue.
  7. When everything is ready spread the dressing on the insides of the buns.
  8. From bottom to top start layering: 2 tomato slices, arugola, meat with camembert and spread a bit of our lingonberry jam on top of the camembert.
  9. And ready is your burger!

Extra:
Caramelized walnuts are a quick and delicious addition! Simply heat up a pan with the walnuts and add the honey until they are caramelized!
