The cake is even more of a delight, when drinking our Saaga herbal tea with it!
Ingredients:
2 bananas
75 g Buckwheat Honey
160 g butter (room temperature)
2 eggs
190 g Golden Autumn Honey
2 ¾ cups wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Just a trace of cardamom
Instructions:
Use a loaf pan and start with buttering it and dredging flour in it.
Preheat the oven at 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
Now peel and mash the bananas.
Mix the butter and buckwheat honey and add the 2 eggs, one after another. Add the Golden Autumn Honey and continue stirring.
Sieve the flour, baking powder and baking soda into a separate bowl.
In another small separate bowl, mix the salt with the cinnamon and cardamom.
Add them, by taking turns, with the banana to the butter-honey-mix and continue stirring well, until you reach the dough texture.
Now you can add the dough into your loaf pan and leave it in the oven for 40 minutes.
