Lingonberry honey bread

Recipe for lingonberry honey breadThere is nothing more homey than smelling the fresh bread baking in the oven! Therefore we want to share our amazing recipe for lingonberry honey bread, which gives energy to focus on any job ahead.

  • 250 g water
  • 15 g fresh yeast
  • 420 g wheat flour
  • 40 g rye flour
  • 60 g honey
  • 120 g lingonberries

Measure ingredients in a mixer bowl and let run for 15 minutes

  • 10 g fine sea salt
  • 100 g chopped walnuts

Add ingredients and mix for additional 5 minutes. Cover the bowl and let rest in a warm spot for 1,5-2 hours. Pour the dough on a floured surface and divide it in two. Form round breads and move to a baking paper, that is placed on a oven dish. Cover with a cloth and let rest for at least one hour more, until the bread has risen. Bake for 30 minutes in 200 °C.

Enjoy of your bread with apple jam or butter and honey!
