The scorching heat wave last week has been a great thing for our bees. The best beehives got almost two meters tall, as the bees produced up to 5-10kg of honey a day. Our spinning process of the honey also started in a fast pace. Unfortunately the weather got cold and rainy, and at the end of June we got the whole average monthly amount of rain, and there is no change in sight. It is also bad news for the bees and honey production.
Our beehives travelled some weeks ago from Western Finland to the polar circle and above: To Muonio, Inari, Kemijärvi, Rovaniemi and Tervola. Our bees travel this year more than ever in order to produce you rare, local delicacies.
