14.9.2010 Lots of honey to package, and our new trainee Alena

Another month has rolled by. The honey extractor has been busily spinning and thousands of kilos of honey have been extracted in the past few months. The summer's yield has been collected, but we'll be busy packaging the honey long into the autumn. The first batches of all our honeys are already in their jars, though, so get ready to taste and purchase some heavenly honey at the autumn markets!

As many of you know, Polar-Honey Finland has dominated the Central European market for years, and we will be participating in many German Christmas markets again this year. While we in the office do speak German, we've decided to hire a German trainee, Alena Vogel, whose German is noticeably better than ours! Even better, Alena speaks incredibly good Finnish, so in the upcoming markets she'll have the opportunity to test her sales abilities in Finnish, too!

Alena is amazed at how many different honeys are available in the Polar-Honey Finland selection. From her first taste, Alena declared that she has never tasted such delicious honey in Germany:
"The honey tastes true, natural and flavourful, and is of course of a much higher quality than something like cheap Lidl honey. My favorite is the Dandelion honey. It's incredible that so much honey is made by a family firm in such a small space!"
